I was suggested this book from a friend of a mine, at a time when I was looking for order and direction in life. I picked up the Ikigai book, for the first time, 2 years ago, after that point I have read it almost daily. The book has taught me how to go about life and has provided me with inspiration and motivation regularly. Even reading a single chapter a day has made a great difference in my life.

I am very fond of reading novels. It is my hobby, and I have read many of the books. The one I recently is this book. This book is all about how to grow and live young while growing old. Ikigai is an ancient technique that teaches us to live life realizing its worth and overcoming expectations. It also tells us to love ourselves and build our personality. The book is good, and there is a lot to take and learn from it. Worth reading.

I am an avid reader of fiction novels and never though such a book would appeal to me or interest me. This Ikigai book does not follow a particular story line but instead, each chapter can be seen as pointers to adapt in life. It is anytime read and reading one chapter every day, has provided me motivation and great confidence while getting through the day. I came across this book 8 months ago and it is a must buy for everyone.

I as a person really like to read books, this book that I came across helped me to be more disciplined and this book is action-oriented. The concepts present an action plan for trying them in your own situation and to practice the ideas directly in day to day life. Also, it has a lot of examples a person can relate to. I got to read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear recently, and I am sure that this book will help everyone who reads it. The writer explained very practically how a habit works. It helps people to understand what's a habit and how important habits are for a person. The habits define the person, so you want to make sure that you develop habits that help you grow. This book acts as a guide for people who need to start a habit and are unable to give it a go. It's a truly helpful and very good book if you want to read something on self-help books. I feel people should give it a read at least once.

I am not an avid reader, but this is one book which made me think. It explains about how the thoughts drive your actions, then actions into a habit which ultimately leads to destiny. It describes well as to how positivity drives positivity and how important it is to tune your thoughts in a positive direction. An excellent book and I keep reading this book again and again.

The book is focusing on the Law of Attraction, the principle that one attracts whatever they focus their energy on, and even if it is their relationship or mental health. The main benefit of this book is that it is empowering. It reminds you that there is a lot that you can do to change your circumstances, even if things seem bleak. I truly loved this book.

As a commerce student, valuation and investments have always piqued my interest. I was suggested this book by my teacher, and since then it has been a part of my bag anywhere I go. The theories and ideas explained regarding valuation and purchase have made me aware of everyday life. I use the book as a guide in everyday purchases and monetary investments. I bought this book in 2006. The book is by Dr Viktor Frankl who was a Jewish doctor from Austria and was one of the survivors of the concentration camp during World War 2. He identified a common thread amongst all those who survived the harsh and dehumanizing conditons of the concentration camp. What he found was that all those who had the "why" to live (an overpowering reason) also could bear almost any "how" to live. What excites me is that it made me think of life beyond our routine.

I bought this book in 2006 in Gurgaon. I have a habit of writing the place & year whenever I buy a book. The book points towards how we are plundering our planet by buying things that we don't really need with money we don't really have. The author mentions quotes from religious texts on the virtues of simple living. It's all about simplicity and its so much relevant today and is visible in this lock down. We are now leading a simple and more meaningful/fulfilling life than we did before, by not splurging on needles things - all in all, an enjoyable read.

I am a student of M.Sc Mathematics, and this Thomas Calculus is simply a holy book for Mathematics. All the topics and even the complex ones are illustrated constructively with examples. Also, the fundamental concepts are structured properly hence making them easily understandable. I would say this book is one of a masterpiece.

In 1996 before i got selected as an official photographer for Miss World 1996 at Bangalore. i would have read not less that 40 books on photography. I frequently visited the British Library above Koshys on St marks road Bangalore. I bumped across this book on understanding the basics on composition and designs. This book actually taught me what makes images look good. I believe to be a complete photographer one has to read this book. So great were my learnings that i decided to buy this book and till today its my reference book and the only book in my library that i ever purchased. Its priceless
